Mr. Hoppenstaedt has been a partner in Kliemt & Vollstädt's Frankfurt office since 1 October 2006. Previously he was with Böttcher Harth, a medium-sized Frankfurt law firm, where he was head of the employment-law department from 1998 on.

Mr. Hoppenstaedt has approximately twenty years' experience in employment law. He advises companies both in court and out of court on all questions of individual and collective employment law. In addition to day-to-day employment-law advice of personnel and legal departments as an outsourced "employment-law department", he has a special practice area in consultancy on company restructuring, from the planning stage through redundancy scheme negotiations to the final implementation and handling litigation in connection with actions against unfair dismissal. In addition, Mr. Hoppenstaedt advises management boards, directors and managerial staff on the creation and termination of their employment contracts.
